Who I Am
I’m Per Michael Björkqvist, the inventor of PhotoSEO.ai. My background spans IT, strategic development, project management — and later, an international career as an antiques dealer. After selling my business, I worked for other dealers, with auction houses and, eventually, for the local municipality.
Now retired, I’ve returned to what is closest to my heart: combining history, technology, and storytelling.
Why PhotoSEO.ai was built
PhotoSEO.ai was born out of a personal challenge. For years I built a collection of rare historical photographs from around the world. Showcasing them online demanded endless SEO work — too time-consuming for a single person, and impossible to scale.
So I began thinking about a program to solve the SEO part, freeing up time for the fun part: sharing stories and visual pleasure.
What It Means Today
What started as a personal desktop tool soon became something others wanted as well. Many creators, collectors, and businesses face the same challenge: spending too much time on SEO instead of on their passion.
With immense support from family and friends, photoseo.ai was developed into the platform you see today — designed to make SEO faster, smarter, and more accessible.
